Service design, service improvement, strategy development and quality systems review focused in the health and disability sector.
Which projects are you most proud of (and why)?
Leading and facilitating the development and implementation of the NZ Spinal Cord Impairment Action Plan. This has resulted in significant improvements in how services are delivered for people with spinal cord impairment. This includes a national destination policy which means people with a spinal cord injury receive services from a specialist spinal service as soon as possible and a NZ Spinal Cord Injury Registry established in partnership with the Rick Hansen Institute in Canada.
What are you currently working on?
Improving emergency department flow and responsiveness.
What gets you out of bed in the morning?
Being able to make a difference for people receiving health and disability services.
