Florence has a diverse background in compliance, risk and stakeholder management and her previous experience spans both the public and private sector. Her passion lies with working with people, for people, with the goal of bringing about sustainable change to the health sector.
What would you describe as your area of expertise?
Project and stakeholder management. I enjoy engaging with people to understand their needs, and as a result working together to design solutions that meet these needs within the parameters of the project.
Which projects are you most proud of (and why)?
Prior to joining Francis Health, I was lucky to be working for a big four consulting firm, specialising in contract compliance. During my time, I was supporting the management of several compliance reviews to completion. I was proud of these projects, not only because the reviews were completed within time and budget and of a high calibre, but also because I learned a new array of skills during each review.
How would you describe working for Francis Health?
Challenging, but in the best way possible. I am learning new skills regularly, surrounded by a supportive and encouraging team. It’s also been a fantastic experience knowing that the work I co-author will help society in some way.
What are you currently working on?
I’m currently working on a Horizons Scanning and Scenario Generation project for the NSW Ministry of Health that assesses the drivers, challenges, and opportunities of the Medical Radiation Sciences workforce.
